最近の家庭英語学習（小３）＆家族で推しているアイドル・グループ　Recent English Learning at Home — Third Grade — and Our Family’s Favorite Idol Group

こんにちは！だいぶご無沙汰していました、Tokoです。

娘のミルは小に３なりました。最近の娘の英語学習ついて、少し書きます。

毎日ではないですが、最近はORTのキッパーシリーズの絵本の読み聞かせ＆音読と、英検５級の『でる順パス単』を１ページずつ進める、というメニューを細々とやっています。

最近読んだ英語絵本は

The Headache / The Picture Book Man (Kipper Series)

What Do You See? (Learn to Read Series) です。

どれも、自分で音読できるようになりました。やっぱり、幼稚園の頃と比べると、自分で読む力が強くなったなぁと思います。どんどん本が読めるようになる読書適齢期だと思うので、英語本が読める力を積み重ねられるよう、踏ん張りたいです！

長らくブログ執筆から離れていたのですが、夫のラ・メール君が、ブログの様式やイラストを可愛らしく一新してくれたので、期待に応えるべく（？）ブログをまた書いていこうと思います。

最後に、最近家族で推しているアイドル・グループについて。Illitです！韓国人のユナ、ミンジュ、ウォンヒ、日本人のモカ、イロハから成る、５人グループで、可愛いし良い持ち歌がいっぱいあるので、箱推ししています。5人が仲良しなのも良くて、歌やダンスはもちろん、メンバー同士のやり取り動画もよく見ては、癒されています。最新曲It's Meもよく聴きますが、I'll Like Youも最近のお気に入り。

Hello! It has been a long time. This is Toko.

My daughter, Miru, is now in third grade. Today, I would like to write a little about her recent English learning at home.

We do not study every day, but recently we have been doing a small and steady routine: reading aloud from the ORT Kipper series, and working through one page at a time from Deru Jun Pass Tan for EIKEN Grade 5.

The English picture books we have read recently are:

The Headache / The Picture Book Man from the Kipper series

and

What Do You See? from the Learn to Read series.

She can now read all of them aloud by herself. Compared with when she was in kindergarten, I really feel that her reading ability has become much stronger. I think she is now at a wonderful age for reading, when children can start reading more and more books on their own. I would like to keep supporting her so that she can gradually build up the ability to read English books.

I had been away from blogging for quite a long time, but my husband, La Mer-kun, recently renewed the blog design and illustrations in a very cute style. So, in order to live up to his expectations — maybe? — I have decided to start writing again.

Lastly, I would like to write about the idol group our family is into these days: ILLIT! It is a five-member group made up of three Korean members, Yunah, Minju, and Wonhee, and two Japanese members, Moka and Iroha. They are so cute, and they have many great songs, so we are fans of the whole group. We also love how close the five members are. Of course, we enjoy their songs and dances, but we also often watch videos of the members interacting with each other, and they always make us feel relaxed and happy.

We often listen to their latest song, “It’s Me,” and recently, “I’ll Like You” has also become one of my favorites.
